Clinical Assistant Professor - Student Outpatient Therapist

Provide clinical interventions and outreach and preventative programming to students of Upstate Medical University.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual outpatient therapy to adults
• Deliver short-term/evidence-based therapy models (preferred)
• Provide clinical supervision to unlicensed providers/trainees (preferred)
• Conduct outreach and preventative programming for students

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program
• NYS license as psychologist (or license-eligible within 12 months of hire)
• Two or more years experience providing individual outpatient therapy to adults

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Five or more years post-doctoral experience providing individual outpatient therapy to undergraduate or graduate students
• Experience with short-term/evidence-based models of therapy
• Experience providing clinical supervision to unlicensed providers/trainees
• Clinical expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and specialist training
• Strong interest in and enthusiasm for working with students
• Interest in working with students from diverse and marginalized backgrounds
• Cultural competency in all aspects of clinical care
• Excellent communication skills

Schedule

Monday through Friday (1 day remote)
