Job Summary

The Department of Medical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin, Madison School of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time position within the Small Animal Internal Medicine service at UW Veterinary Care. This position is available at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the clinical track or tenure track, tailored to the individual candidates' qualifications and interests.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in clinical and didactic teaching of veterinary students, interns, and residents;

  • Participate in continuing education programs;

  • Contribute to and participate in basic or clinical research in the SAIM section, including mentoring of house officers in research;

  • Involvement in committees at the Department, School, and University level, along with involvement nationally at the professional committee level.

Required Qualifications

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Small Animal Internal Medicine is required by start date.

  • A Wisconsin Veterinary License is required.

  • Candidates must have a DVM or equivalent degree, by start date.
