Clinical Assistant Professor/ Director of BS in Respiratory Care Program

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in the Respiratory Care program.
• Develop and implement curricula using CoNAH and FDU resources.
• Assess student learning outcomes and supervise activities in experiential learning settings.
• Advise and support students, maintaining decorum and confidentiality in sensitive matters.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, Health Sciences, Education, or a related field.
• Clinical and didactic teaching experience.

Director of BS in Respiratory Care Program

• Serve as the Director of the BS in Respiratory Care Program.
• Oversee the development, implementation, planning, and evaluation of the program.
• Lead recruitment efforts for the program.
• Collaborate on the development of new program tracks.
• Represent the interests of the Henry P. Becton College of Nursing and Allied Health to internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Director Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of CoARC program requirements and student evaluation standards.
• Proven experience in student instruction, clinical education, and mentorship.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Employment contingent upon satisfactory background check.
• Candidates must sign a waiver authorizing the background check and present a Social Security card.

Pay

$100,000 per year
