Clinical Assistant Professor - Cardiology

About the role

The Clinical Assistant Professor of Cardiology position will practice in the multispecialty cardiovascular and thoracic service line clinic. This position is actively involved in patient care and teaching medical students and residents in the ambulatory clinics, as well as the hospital surgery/inpatient service.

Responsibilities

  • Practice in the multispecialty cardiovascular and thoracic service line clinic.
  • Teach medical students and residents in the ambulatory clinics and hospital surgery/inpatient service.
  • Participate in clinical research and service activities.
  • Develop an operational practice with OSU-CHS administration.
  • Work with the US Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA).

Requirements

  • M.D./D.O. Doctor of Osteopathy or Medical Doctorate (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Cardiology Fellowship Certifications, Registrations, And/or Licenses
  • DO or MD degree, eligibility for licensure in the state of Oklahoma, Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Cardiology Board Eligible
