About the role

The Clinic Assistant works with providers, nursing, and office staff to effectively, efficiently, and accurately fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a busy office practice. Duties and responsibilities will vary according to position assigned. The Clinic Assistant is directly accountable and responsible to the consumer for the quality of care rendered. Performance of duties must sincerely and positively reflect consideration, concern, and inspire confidence when interacting with patients, visitors, providers, or fellow employees.

Responsibilities

• Patient rooming
• Assisting with procedures
• Performing ECGs
• Conducting point-of-care testing
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required upon hire)

Qualifications

• CNA, physician office, or other clinical experience or science background (preferred)
• 1 year of experience in a physician office (preferred)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $22.46 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
