Job Summary
Eastern Washington University and the College of Health Science and Public Health invite applications for a Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Faculty position to begin August 16, 2025. We will select one or more positions from this applicant pool. The appointments will be for fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year and will continue as a nine-month academic year appointment. Clinical Assistant and Clinical Associate Faculty report to the SON Director. Clinical Faculty are full-time faculty who are responsible for teaching in classroom, clinical, laboratory, and simulated learning environments. About the role
The successful candidate will teach in classroom, clinical, laboratory, and simulated learning environments. They will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality courses, assessing student learning outcomes, and providing feedback to students. Additionally, they may engage in research, grant writing, and service activities as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Teach in classroom, clinical, laboratory, and simulated learning environments
- Develop and deliver high-quality courses
- Absorb and implement new curriculum and instructional methods
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback
- Engage in research, grant writing, and service activities as appropriate
Requirements
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field
- Current RN license in the state of Washington
- Experience in clinical practice and teaching
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Doctorate in nursing or related field preferred
- Experience in higher education teaching and administration
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in nursing education
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually.
Schedule
