Clinical Assistant - Neurosurgery

Role Overview

The Clinic Assistant supports healthcare providers, nursing, and office staff in a busy clinical setting, performing tasks such as patient rooming, assisting with procedures, ECGs, point-of-care testing, and other assigned duties. They are accountable for delivering high-quality care with a focus on patient interaction, demonstrating concern, confidence, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Patient rooming and assistance with clinical procedures
• Performing ECGs and point-of-care tests
• Supporting providers and staff to ensure efficient workflow
• Providing positive interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues

Qualifications & Skills

Required: National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred: 1+ year clinical or physician office experience, CNA or related background

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality care
