Clinical Assistant is a vital, hands-on member of the care team who works directly with patients and providers in clinics, hospitals, and specialty practices. What You’ll Do Work with doctors to room patientsAssist with procedure setupPerform point-of care testing, take vitals, phlebotomy services Manage patient flow, and support everything from check-in to discharge Monitor pending labs and radiology orders for results to help guide patient careExplain procedures to patients and obtain consentProvide referral orders.Facilitate transition of care to urgent care or hospitalProvide other duties as needed.
