About the role

The Clinical Assistant is responsible for the coordination of all Category II and III equipment set-ups and staff scheduling as directed. The Clinical Assistant acts as a liaison between Norco clinicians and referral sources, and troubleshoots questions and problems with patients/clients.

Responsibilities

  • Work with patients, physicians, therapists, insurance companies, and referral sources to optimize the equipment needs for clients
  • Obtain necessary documentation and authorizations required for equipment coverage
  • Aid with clinical, sales support, and home transition staff, as necessary
  • Aid customer service staff to coordinate respiratory-related discharges
  • Cook with RT/Clinician schedules and patient set-ups, answer and route clinical staff/patient communication
  • Make deliveries when necessary
  • On-call required on a predetermined rotating basis
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a caring, personable manner
  • Previous home care experience is preferred
  • Excellent public relations and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including phone demeanor
  • Excellent office skills - (Microsoft Office, Docuware applications)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and over 75 lbs occasionally to a height of 36 inches

Pay

$20-$21/Hr DOE
