Responsibilities

• Verifies patient information (medical history, purpose of visit) by communicating with a patient
• Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature
• Records appropriate patient information on patient charts and/or Salesforce
• Safeguards patient information and maintains confidentiality
• Assists in preparing charts, pre-admission, and consent forms
• Aids in maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
• Maintains inventory of supplies as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Medical Terminology knowledge preferred
• Holds and maintains an active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Las Vegas Applicants Only - Must hold or obtain a Laboratory Assistant Licensure through the State of Nevada's Department of Health & Human Services Division of Public and Behavioral Health
