Responsibilities

  • Serve in the Department of Preventative, Pediatric, & Community Dentistry.
  • Core responsibilities include didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction and curriculum development.
  • Mentor pre-doctoral students.
  • Facilitate faculty oversight during off-campus student service learning and community outreach activities.
  • Participate in emergency call coverage (by rotation).
  • Engage in college, university, and community service.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a D.D.S./D.M.D. degree, or international equivalent, and have successfully completed the NBDE Parts I & II or the INBDE.
  • By the position start date, the candidate must have completed a CODA-accredited graduate program in Pediatric Dentistry and must be Board Certified, or eligible for Board Certification, as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
  • Must have active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full).

Pay

Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Schedule

The position is a full-time (1.0 FTE) 12-month non-tenure, clinical track position.
