About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our dynamic team as a full-time faculty member in Exotic Animal Medicine. This position can be on a tenure or clinical track and can be tailored to your experiences, species preferences, and career goals.
Responsibilities
- Mentor a specialty intern
- Teach in the exotic animal medicine course and clinical skills labs within the DVM curriculum
- Serve as a clinical mentor for house officers and students
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Arizona State Veterinary License
- Board certification (or eligibility) by ACZM, ECZM, or ABVPE
- Evidence of excellent clinical and communication skills
- Understanding of patient-centered care
- Willingness to engage in collaborative clinical research
- Strong commitment to meeting the needs of students and house officers
- Collaborative mindset to foster a team-approach to teaching and service
Qualifications
- Teaching experience
- Research experience (desirable but not required)

Pay
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with some weekend and evening hours required.
