Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor, Gastrointestinal Oncology
About the role
The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) are jointly recruiting a full-time clinical faculty member specializing in clinical care of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies. This position will be at the Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate or Clinical Professor level commensurate with experience and qualifications in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch and the Division of Hematology and Oncology at UW.
Responsibilities
- Focused primarily on ambulatory clinical care of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies at a world-renowned comprehensive cancer center.
- Engage in teaching, research, and service activities.
- Oversee trainees during outpatient and inpatient clinical activities, and lectures.
- Recruit and care for trial patients.
- Primary, annual appointment in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch.
Requirements
- MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Oncology or Hematology/Oncology Fellowship and ABIM certification and maintenance of certification in Oncology (or foreign equivalent).
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington.
- Demonstrated record in clinical care with a primary focus on gastroenterological malignancies.
Qualifications

- ACGME accredited Oncology or Hematology/Oncology Fellowship and ABIM certification and maintenance of certification in Oncology (or foreign equivalent).
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington.
- Demonstrated record in clinical care with a primary focus on gastroenterological malignancies.

Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is from $315,000.00 to $335,000.00 for faculty hired at the Clinical Assistant Professor rank, from $350,000.00 to $375,000.00 for faculty hired at the Clinical Associate Professor rank, and from $385,000.00 to $405,000.00 for faculty hired at the Professor rank. This position is eligible for relocation assistance or a sign-on bonus.
