Clinical Analyst -Spain

About the role

The Clinical Analyst II (ABMGG/CCMG certified) serves as a key contributor to the interpretation of genetic findings and supports accurate diagnosis and case resolution through exome and genome sequencing workflows. This mid-level role builds on foundational clinical analysis competencies by performing independent case reviews with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform clinical data analysis and case management to support the accurate interpretation of genetic findings, including reanalysis.
• Establish phenotype-genotype correlations across a wide range of genetic disorders using internal resources and professional tools.
• Investigate and interpret complex clinical features of genetic conditions; document evidence and rationale for variant classification in a clear, standardized format.
• Maintain productivity and error standards as assigned by the team lead.
• Perform clinical analysis at a moderate case rate.
• Perform other duties as assigned to advance team objectives.

Education, Experience, & Skills

• PhD in Biology, Genetics, or related field, MD or DO with more than 2 years of directly relevant experience in clinical diagnostics (including fellowship)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Demonstrated computer skills, including the ability to maintain high proficiency with internal systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Office 365 environment
• At least one year of independent clinical analysis experience
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: ABMGG or CCMG certification required

Compensation

Salary is dependent upon country, experience, and credentials.

• This is a fully remote position.

• Work is performed in a climate-controlled environment using standard office equipment, including a computer, phone, and video conferencing tools.
• Your standard work schedule and hours will be established in collaboration with your leader and may be adjusted to align with evolving business needs.

Physical Demands

• Sedentary role requiring prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer.
• Prolonged periods of sitting (up to 8 hours per day)
