Clinical AI Implementation Specialist
About the role
Clinically AI is seeking a Clinical AI Implementation Specialist to join our team in a hybrid role, working on-site in our San Diego office Monday through Thursday. This role involves owning end-to-end implementation, workflow configuration, training, and adoption for behavioral health and healthcare customers using the Clinically AI platform.
Responsibilities
- Owning end-to-end implementation, workflow configuration, training, and adoption for behavioral health and healthcare customers using the Clinically AI platform.
- Guiding clinicians, administrators, and leadership teams through the transition from onboarding to confident daily usage of AI in real workflows.
- Helping organizations become AI-native by integrating AI into real clinical and administrative workflows in a practical, compliant, and sustainable manner.
- Serving as the primary operational partner for customers throughout implementation and early adoption, helping them integrate AI into their workflows.
- Combining implementation delivery, workflow consulting, AI configuration, stakeholder management, and organizational change management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare technology implementation, consulting, training, or clinical operations roles.
- Demonstrated experience owning enterprise implementations from kickoff through stabilization, including configuration, training, and adoption.
- Strong hands-on experience with EHR systems, clinical documentation workflows, and clinician training.
- A strong track record in change management and user adoption, particularly with users who are new to technology or hesitant about it.
- An active, daily user of AI tools in your own workflow (LLMs, prompt engineering, structured outputs).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across clinical, operational, and executive audiences.
Qualifications
- Strong implementation ownership, including managing complex, multi-stakeholder implementations from kickoff through stabilization.
- Empathy and change leadership, guiding clinicians and administrators through uncertainty or skepticism around AI adoption and new workflows.
- Ai-native thinking, actively using AI tools in your own work and understanding prompting, structured outputs, workflow design, and practical AI application in operational environments.
- Understanding healthcare and behavioral health documentation workflows, compliance requirements, and how clinicians and audit teams operate in practice.

Pay
The base salary range for this role is $70,000–$100,000 annually, depending on experience, healthcare implementation expertise, customer-facing leadership experience, demonstrated performance, and overall scope alignment.
Schedule
This is a full-time hybrid position based in San Diego, CA, with on-site work required Monday through Thursday and up to 20% domestic travel for customer onboarding, training, workshops, and go-live support.
