Responsibilities

  • Annotate medical records for AI training data
  • Validate data quality by reviewing annotated records
  • Refined AI-generated clinical logic and outputs
  • Provide subject-matter expertise for data science teams
  • Interpret clinical documentation to identify codable entities and conditions
  • Review AI outputs against documentation to identify and categorize errors
  • Translate coding guidelines into actionable AI prompt instructions

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of clinical coding and/or CDI experience with expertise in ICD-10-CM code assignment
  • Active credential in CCS, CPC, CRC, CDIP, CCDS, or equivalent
  • Proficient in applying clinical coding standards to ensure high-quality labels
  • Ability to communicate clinical rationale in writing for audits and QA
  • Independent worker within established guidelines, identifying systemic issues
