Responsibilities
- Annotate medical records for AI training data
- Validate data quality by reviewing annotated records
- Refined AI-generated clinical logic and outputs
- Provide subject-matter expertise for data science teams
- Interpret clinical documentation to identify codable entities and conditions
- Review AI outputs against documentation to identify and categorize errors
- Translate coding guidelines into actionable AI prompt instructions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of clinical coding and/or CDI experience with expertise in ICD-10-CM code assignment
- Active credential in CCS, CPC, CRC, CDIP, CCDS, or equivalent
- Proficient in applying clinical coding standards to ensure high-quality labels
- Ability to communicate clinical rationale in writing for audits and QA
- Independent worker within established guidelines, identifying systemic issues
