Responsibilities

  • Teach and evaluate students in a clinical setting
  • Create an engaging learning environment that supports academic progression and professional socialization
  • Absess student learning, provide timely feedback, and support remediation of at-risk students
  • Collaborate with Course Lead Faculty on curriculum delivery, student success plans, and program evaluation
  • Maintain accurate student and clinical documentation and comply with FERPA and college policies
  • Communicate professionally with students, faculty, and clinical partners
  • Attend required orientations, faculty meetings, and clinical site briefings
  • Coach students on leadership, ethics, communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and professionalism
  • Connect students with campus resources to support success

Requirements

  • Master’s- and/or doctorate-level nursing degree
  • 3+ years of recent direct RN-level patient care experience
  • Flexibility to teach clinicals required; flexibility to teach labs and/or didactic courses in other areas of the nursing curriculum is strongly preferred
