About the role

The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for the development, coordination, and operational management of the clinic(s). The Clinic Supervisor supervises clinic staff, assists with program development, marketing, and business planning in collaboration with the clinic leadership team and the Medical Director (if applicable) for the service. The Supervisor collaborates with providers, staff, and Enloe's leadership team to plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor the provision of quality and efficient health care services and resources to promote optimal clinical, financial, and satisfaction outcomes across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise clinic staff and assist with program development, marketing, and business planning.
  • Collaborate with providers, staff, and leadership to plan, organize, and monitor health care services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Medicare Conditions of Participation and clinic practice standards.
  • Communicate operational initiatives effectively with providers and staff.
  • Interface with all hospital departments to maximize patient care resources.
  • Prioritize and manage ever-changing patient status and workloads.
  • Demonstrate leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fulfill essential functions of the position while upholding Enloe Medical Center’s core values.

Requirements

  • Two years of clerical experience in a medical setting.
  • One year of supervisory experience in a hospital ambulatory area, hospital-based clinic, or medical practice setting.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field (desired).
  • Membership in a professional organization and attendance at management/supervision conferences (desired).

Skills

  • Technical competence and professional judgment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and sensitivity to the patient experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinic practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Flexibility, innovation, and professionalism in communication and problem-solving.

Pay

Compensation range: $35.75 - $48.26 per hour, based on applicable experience.
