Clinic Supervisor - Sleep Clinic

About the role

This position is responsible for the efficient functioning of sleep clinics at multiple locations, the scheduling of technical sleep studies, and all sleep program billing and medical records including transcription. Maintains provider schedules, supervises over 25 staff, directs and schedules clerical and back office staff, assigns specific tasks and responsibilities and sets priorities, performs diversified administrative duties, does back-up transcription and clean-up requiring specialized sleep medicine knowledge, and maintains excellent customer service. In short, managerial responsibilities without budgetary or hiring/firing authority. Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient functioning of sleep clinics at multiple locations
• Schedule technical sleep studies
• Manage sleep program billing and medical records, including transcription
• Maintain provider schedules
• Supervise over 25 staff
• Direct and schedule clerical and back office staff; assign tasks, set responsibilities and priorities
• Perform diversified administrative duties
• Perform back-up transcription and clean-up requiring specialized sleep medicine knowledge
• Maintain excellent customer service

Qualifications

Required:

• Further post‑high school education in a relevant discipline
• 5 years of experience in a customer service environment with extensive computer usage/experience
• 1 year of experience in a supervisory role

Preferred:

• Transcription experience

Pay

Pay range: $31.43 – $48.08 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full‑time, day shift.
