About the role
The Clinic Supervisor at Jordan Valley Health is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services in a patient-centered approach. This role involves supervising staff, managing supplies, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Identifies and implements opportunities for improvement in service delivery, quality of work-life, and patient care.
- Maintains compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and clinic policies for patient services, personnel management, and environmental safety.
- Builds and manages relationships with community partners and represents Jordan Valley Health in the community.
- Oversees the integration of services in the clinic and ensures the implementation of patient-centered medical home principles.
- Supports the director in managing a performance improvement process and establishing a culture of excellence in quality and service.
- Assists the director in interviewing, hiring, and training new clinic staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Current BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Associate degree preferred, but a high school diploma or GED is acceptable.
- Two years' experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
- Basic skills certification and expanded functions are preferred.
