Clinic Supervisor

You’ll room patients, answer calls, and ensure smooth daily operations while mentoring and guiding your team to create a collaborative, empowering environment. Responsibilities

• Understand and address patient and team member needs to ensure smooth daily operations for both the front and back office.
• Actively coach and mentor staff, fostering a supportive culture where team members feel encouraged to contribute and learn from each other.
• Maintain staffing levels and manage schedules to optimize patient care and access.
• Identify opportunities for workflow improvement and collaborate with the team to implement effective solutions.
• Adapt communication style to build strong relationships and keep conversations with patients, providers, and teammates tactful, positive, and productive.
• Provide direct patient care proficiently, staying updated on best practices (for both front and back of clinic) to guide teammates and ensure quality treatment.
• Function as a working leader, providing on-the-ground support (70-90% of the time) to ensure high-quality care and service.
• Identify and resolve issues promptly, adapt to changing situations, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead regular team huddles to share updates, celebrate wins, and provide feedback to keep everyone aligned and motivated.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Successful completion of a state-approved Medical Assistant program.
• Employer may consider applicants based on extensive experience (unless required by state law).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Medical office, procedure/exam room, and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards, or toxic substances.
• Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
