About the Organization

Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. Responsibilities

• Schedule, cancel, and confirm patient appointments through direct or indirect contact with customers.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and thorough entry of patient demographics into the computer system.
• Secure authorizations when applicable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a hospital or physician office setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to multitask and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with patients, co-workers, and the public.
• Excellent telephone etiquette skills.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of the Microsoft Windows environment.
• Working knowledge of office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and other office equipment.

Pay
