CLINIC RN/WOUND, OSTOMY, CONTINENCE (WOC) RN

About the role

The WOC clinic nurse assists with the delivery of patient care in conjunction with the certified WOCN, ARNP, in the clinic setting. She/he assists with wound care, ostomy management, foot care, and other procedures. She/he assists in patient teaching and documentation of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Aids in the provision of wound care, ostomy management, foot care, and other procedures.
• Aids in patient teaching and documentation of patient care.
• Responds to a high volume of phone calls each day.
• Meets the needs of patients with scheduled appointments.
• Works directly with a primary care physician.
• Works in the Medical Clinic and/or Specialty Clinic.
• Rotates on Saturdays for WOC Clinic Monday & Thursday, every Wednesday in Urology clinic, and fill in as needed in the Medical or Specialty Clinic.

Requirements

• RN licensure.
• Full-time: 32 hours/week. 8 a.m.-5p.m.; WOC Clinic Monday & Thursday, every Wednesday in Urology clinic, and fill in as needed in the Medical or Specialty Clinic.

Qualifications

• Experience in wound care, ostomy management, and foot care.
• Strong communication and teaching skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of tasks and responsibilities.
