Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Cardiology Clinic RN, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team, working alongside physicians and nurse practitioners to deliver high-quality, holistic care for our clinic patients. You will provide essential care within our supportive Cardiology department, educating, supporting, and advocating for patients, and coordinating care plans.

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care according to established practice, protocols, policies, and the ND Nurse Practice Act.
• Taking vitals, performing assessments, and collecting patient data.
• Assisting providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administering designated medications, instilling eye drops, and applying topical medications as ordered.
• Educating patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and wellness promotion.
• Acting as a patient advocate, building trust and comfort with every patient and their family.
• Accurately documenting all patient data, assessments, and interventions in the medical record.
• Utilizing the nursing process to coordinate a plan of care, including referrals.

Job Requirements

• A nursing degree from an accredited program
• An active and valid RN license in North Dakota
• CPR (BLS) certification current upon hire OR to be completed within 14 days of hire
• A minimum of one year of hospital or clinical nursing experience is preferred, with a strong interest or background in psychiatry/behavioral health being a plus
• Solid basic clinical skills, the ability to remain calm and effective in various situations, and a commitment to completing nonviolent crisis intervention training within six months
• Excellent communication skills, a knack for building positive relationships, and a deep respect for patient confidentiality

Pay and Recognition

The posted compensation range of $26.14 - $36.92 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
