About the role

This position provides direct patient care within a 24/7 Cancer Care Clinic, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities. The role involves promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized care plans, assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and addressing patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care.
• Deliver scheduled infusions such as chemotherapy, blood products, IV hydration, and port care.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, nurses, and patient care technicians to manage urgent needs and initiate hospital care for eligible patients.
• Participate in professional development and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Use critical nursing skills to evaluate patient needs and support holistic care.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN required; RN license necessary.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.

Schedule

Rotating schedule with night shifts. Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness.
