Clinic Physician (Board Certified)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Alphabetizing and numerically shelving materials in their proper location.
- Learning and performing simple computer operations.
- Clearing tables and repositioning chairs.
- Emptying the book drop.
- Arranging books in their proper order on carts.
- Packing and unpacking books in transit between libraries.
- Other related duties as needed.
Education, Experience, Licensing
Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of the 10th grade. If the applicant is a current student and does not have work references, they must submit strong recommendation letters from at least three recent teachers.
Must be able to bend, stretch, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push a fully loaded book truck.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Supplemental Information
Volunteer or previous work experience in a library is preferred.
Possession of a valid Florida Class E Driver's License with an acceptable driving record is preferred.
The County may require employees to make either a temporary, long-term, or permanent transfer to another Library location to accommodate the organization's business needs.
Work Hours and Days
40 hours biweekly, Tuesday - Thursday.
Emergency Response/Recovery Activities
All County employees are required to work before, during, or after an emergency as needed. This may include temporarily being assigned to work and performing duties outside of the normal scope of their position, location, and work schedule to fit the needs of the County and its citizens.

If you have retired from the Florida Retirement System pension plan or if you have taken a distribution from the FRS investment plan, please be advised that you are not eligible for renewed membership in either of the FRS retirement plan options.
