Clinic Patient Representative - Alamogordo Women's Services

About the role

Serves as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors, welcoming them to the Family Health Center. Supports the center’s operation by setting up appointments, maintaining the cash drawer, posting charges, and assuring the accuracy of patient demographics using the hospital’s computer system.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the debit and credit of client accounts
• Perform posting operations to institutional clients and review all billing transactions related to the accounts receivable system
• Resolve client inquiries and complaints on institutional billing transactions
• Perform order entry, registration, and other clerical duties
• Train clerical staff in proper registration and printing of patient reports
• Perform other clerical duties as needed, including insurance verification, recording statistics, registering patients, and updating patient accounts
• Assist with scheduling patient appointments, answer phones, and inform patients of their benefits
• Complete other duties as needed

• High School Diploma

Schedule

8AM – 5PM, Monday–Friday
