The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry is a multidisciplinary hospital and office-based practice at the IU School of Dentistry and IU Health University Hospital. The department provides the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty care, guided by a mission to excel in patient care, teaching, education, research, and community engagement throughout Indiana and beyond.
About the role
Manages clinic operations and programs, including supervision of Clinic Operations employees and operational planning, initiative implementation, and evaluation. Works closely with directors to establish Clinic Operations strategies and ensure adherence to best practices on initiatives to meet university-wide goals and objectives. Plans, organizes, and manages the work of staff, initiating personnel actions including recruitment, hiring, training, evaluating, performance management, and corrective action. Acts as a resource for other health professionals to provide quality, cost-effective, and caring services. Monitors changes in privacy regulations and ensures current policies and procedures are in compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health Services or a related field (required)
- Master's degree in Health Services or a related field (preferred)
- 2 years of related experience in a health care or clinical setting
- Combinations of related education and experience may be considered; education beyond the minimum required may substitute for work experience, and work experience beyond the minimum required may substitute for education

Pay
$70,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year based on experience and internal equity
Schedule
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
