Clinic Nurse RN

About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for patient preparation, assisting the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries, performing various diagnostic tests, administering medications, and providing patient education in the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries
• Performs various diagnostic tests
• Administers medications
• Provides patient education
• Maintains equipment
• Acts as a liaison between the physician and outside agencies (including hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMO's, and other physician's offices)
• Supports other medical staff members to maintain patient flow
• Maintains accurate and complete documentation

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered RN license in good standing (AR state license or multi-state license to include AR)
• Registered Nursing Degree from an accredited institution
• CPR certification required
• Previous clinical experience preferred

Qualifications

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
