Responsibilities
- Provide general care to patients of all ages with patience, care, compassion, and understanding
- Conduct tests, record medical histories, provide treatments, and assist physicians
- Prescribe medications
- Enhance public awareness on the importance of health
- Assist physicians with rounding and admissions
Highlights
- Per-Diem employed opportunity
- 12-hour shifts, 7pm-7am
- Open ICU
- 18-20 patients per shift
- Work with Collaborative Practice Agreement
- Must have 2 years' experience working in inpatient hospitalist setting
Compensation and benefits
- Marketable shift rate
- Medical malpractice insurance including tail coverage
Qualifications
- MSN with specialization as an ARNP
- Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
- BLS upon hire and maintain current
- One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred
- Previous experience with electronic health record
