About the role
The Clinic LPN is responsible for patient preparation and assisting the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries. In addition, this role will perform various diagnostic tests, administer medications, and provide patient education in the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Assists the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries
- Performs various diagnostic tests
- Administers medications
- Provides patient education in the clinic
- Maintains equipment
- Acts as a liaison between the physician and external agencies such as hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMO's, other physician's offices, and patients
- Supports other medical staff members to maintain efficient patient flow
- Ensures accurate and complete documentation
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing (either AR license or multi-state license to include AR)
- Degree from an accredited institution
Benefits
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
