About the role
The nurse is responsible for patient preparation, assisting the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries, performing various diagnostic tests, administering medications, and providing patient education in the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Assists the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries
- Performs various diagnostic tests
- Administers medications
- Provides patient education
- Maintains equipment
- Acts as a liaison between the physician and external agencies including hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMOs, and other physician’s offices, as well as, with patients
- Supports other medical staff members to maintain patient flow
- Maintains accurate and complete documentation
Requirements
- Current Arkansas nursing license
- Degree from an accredited institution
Other Information
- This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly
