Clinic Medical Assistant Orthopedics
About the role
Work Schedule: 100% FTE, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, located at UW Health Charles St. Clinic 1340 Charles Street.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional medical assistant services in a clinic setting.
- Assist with patient registration, scheduling, and billing processes.
- Perform basic diagnostic procedures under the supervision of a healthcare provider.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by a physician.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Required to provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting.
Qualifications
- Required Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Required Work Experience At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting.
- Required Licenses & Certifications RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire.
- Required Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained.

Pay
Additional components of compensation may include: Evening, night, and weekend shift differential, Overtime, On-call pay.
