About the Role
The Clinic Manager supports the Clinic Director with the performance and operations of the clinic and staff while maintaining a caseload of 20-25 clients per week. Responsibilities include managing staff performance, recruiting clinical staff, training and development, building referral relationships, and providing administrative and clinical oversight in the absence of the Clinic Director.
Responsibilities
- Hiring, Training, and Staff Management
- Assist in the hiring process for all therapists at the clinic.
- Provide training for new hires, ensuring adherence to Ellie Mental Health’s clinical and operational policies.
- Assess ongoing development and training needs; conduct training as needed.
- Hold staff accountable for meeting performance expectations.
- Support basic clinic Human Resource tasks.
- Clinic Oversight
- Provide training, staff development, and administrative oversight to support clinic operations.
- Collaborate with the Clinic Director to implement strategies for fiscal and clinical efficiency.
- Monitor and manage clinic office schedules and supplies as directed by the Clinic Director.
- Respond promptly to concerns from clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders.
- Clinic Outreach, Marketing, and Networking
- Support community outreach and engagement efforts.
- Collaborate with community partners to increase referrals.
- Plan and execute outreach events with the Clinic Director and staff.
- Organizational Leadership
- Collaborate with the Clinic Director to implement clinic policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve client care, quality, and effectiveness; implement changes with the Clinic Director.
- Clinic Services
- Provide clinical mental health therapeutic services.
- Maintain a minimum caseload of 20-25 clients per week.
- Conduct clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or higher in a mental health discipline.
- Independently licensed with a Florida-issued clinical practice license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC).
- Qualified Manager in the State of Florida (preferred).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and executive skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice.
- Understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications (Office Suite, Outlook, Teams).
- Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems.

Reporting & Supervision
The Clinic Manager reports to the Clinic Director. All clinic therapists report to the Clinic Director.
