Clinic Manager CCKW
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensures program complies with JCAHO, HCFA, state, and patient rights regulatory standards.
- Captures, maintains, and evaluates the effectiveness of treatment planning.
- Processes unusual occurrence reports, conducts investigations, and corrective plans as needed.
- Captures performance improvement activities and is responsible for the effectiveness of the program quality management activities.
- Maintains and monitors medical records for appropriate documentation of care and effectiveness of the treatment plan.
- Evaluates the appropriateness of all medical/psychiatric emergency interventions performed in the program.
- Maintains and provides daily feedback as required related to core measures data collection (HBIPS).
- Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
- Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires master’s degree specializing in nursing, social work, or a clinical related mental health area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of JCAHO/HCFA, OSHA, state, and federal regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Requires current state license: LPC, LPC-A, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or RN.
- BLS certification is required upon hire.
- De-escalation training is required within 30 days of hire.
Carrus Care is a mental health facility designed to support children's mental health needs while allowing them to complete their schoolwork on-site under the supervision of a licensed treatment team. The clinic manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing treatment planning, and overseeing various aspects of the program's quality and safety.
The ideal candidate should have a master’s degree in nursing, social work, or a related field, with at least three years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting. A thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and effective communication skills are essential. Additionally, the successful candidate must hold a valid state license (LPC, LPC-A, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or RN), along with a BLS certification and de-escalation training.
