Clinic Manager - Behavioral Health Clinics
Compensation range: $47.18 - $64.90 per hour. The range reflects the lowest and highest possible rates; placement within the range depends on skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional management to the operations of the Center for Family Health in support of medical care as directed by the Director of Operations, medical staff, and hospital policies.
- Coordinates patient care planning with other departments and centers.
- Directly supervises Front Office Team Leader, Back Office Supervisor/Back Office staff, and subordinate supervisors, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, and addressing complaints.
- Plans, organizes, and supervises team workflow to achieve organizational goals.
- Oversees patient flow and creates staff assignments accordingly.
- Monitors budgetary items and prepares related reports.
- Prepares or coordinates activities to improve operations or change service delivery.
- Reports safety concerns and incidents to the Director of Operations.
- Ensures productivity reports, statistics, notification forms, and patient charges are completed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- One (1) year of medical office experience.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, public administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of insurance payers, including Medi-Cal, Medicare, and state-funded programs.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (Title 22, DNV, and CMS).
- Practice Management experience in a multidisciplinary delivery system.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
