About the role

The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations in the 301 Arcadia Suite 607 Multidisciplinary Clinic. This role collaborates closely with administrative leaders, clinical departments, and medical staff to deliver exceptional patient services and a positive care experience.

Responsibilities

  • Directly or indirectly supervises all subordinate staff.
  • Serves as a personal contact for physicians, staff, and outside departments in order to address problems, issues or concerns that require attention.
  • Directs and coordinates patient care programs.
  • Investigates and resolves incidents and complaints or suggestions from physicians, patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Oversees activities of quality assurance programs for patient care provided by unit.
  • Participates in policy formation, long-range planning, and policy making for the hospital and the department.
  • Develops and implements administrative policies and procedures.
  • Ensures adherence to policies and procedures, provides interpretation as needed.
  • Oversees day to day clinic operations.
  • Fosters a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.
  • Supervises, coaches, and develops clinic staff.
  • Builds and sustains a stable, high performing team.
  • Promotes shared decision making across all levels.
  • Ensures completion of required staff education and competencies.
  • Leads and facilitates continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Makes recommendations for promotions, terminations, and salary decisions.
  • Evaluates employee performance.
  • Communicates information, assignments, priorities, and special requests to staff.
  • Manages workload of staff. Monitors status of pending items and follow-ups, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Req High School or equivalent
  • Req Bachelor’s Degree Degree in a Related field
  • Combined experience/education may substitute for Bachelor's Degree.
  • Req 1 - 3 years Experience in managing clinical operations in a healthcare setting.
  • Req Excellent people management skills.
  • Req Ability to motivate and challenge staff.
  • Req High frustration and ambiguity tolerance.
  • Req Demonstrates ability to utilize effective, appropriate and diplomatic oral and written communication skills.
  • Req Ability to bridge the gap between administrative demands and clinical needs.
  • Req High skill and experience in process improvement.
  • Req Familiarity with Word processing, Microsoft office software and departmental applications.
  • Req Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning and evaluation skills.
  • Req Organization/time management skills.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $81,120.00 - $131,010.00.
