Clinic LVN

About the role

The Clinic LVN role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs and performing basic assessments
• Administering medications and assisting with treatments and procedures
• Supporting patient intake and flow
• Preparing exam rooms and maintaining supplies
• Accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Patient education on care plans, medications, and follow-up instructions
• Coordination of referrals, lab work, and diagnostic testing
• Collaboration with the care team to promote a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of Texas and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated clinical skills in basic patient assessment, medication administration, and support for routine procedures in an outpatient or clinic setting
• Strong documentation and organizational skills, including accurate use of electronic health records and maintenance of patient confidentiality
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize patient needs, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, infection control standards, and continuous quality improvement
• Prior experience in a hospital-based clinic, primary care, or specialty practice is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited vocational nursing program
