Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients using clinical reasoning and best practices following the LVN Scope of Practice.
- Create care plans and set goals based on findings for the Registered Nurse.
- Evaluate nursing practice effectiveness and quality by reviewing and examining specific indicators in nursing.
- Create a caring, safe, healing, supportive, therapeutic environment.
- Manage pain, promote comfort, and minimize suffering.
- Facilitate education for patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members, as well as the community.
- Implement a care plan under RN/provider direction, including team members and community.
- Solve problems for patients, their families, and staff using strategies and available resources.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience.
- Confident with starting IV's.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Field of study should be Nursing.
- Less than a year of experience in a similar role.
- Must hold a Vocational Nursing Practitioner's License.
- Basic Life Support certification is essential.
