Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using clinical reasoning and best practices following the LVN Scope of Practice.
• Create care plans and set goals based on findings for the Registered Nurse.
• Evaluate nursing practice effectiveness and quality by reviewing and examining specific indicators in nursing.
• Create a caring, safe, healing, supportive, therapeutic environment.
• Manage pain, promote comfort, and minimize suffering.
• Facilitate education for patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members, as well as the community.
• Implement a care plan under RN/provider direction, including team members and community.
• Solve problems for patients, their families, and staff using strategies and available resources.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience.
• Confident with starting IV's.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Field of study should be Nursing.
• Less than a year of experience in a similar role.
• Must hold a Vocational Nursing Practitioner's License.
• Basic Life Support certification is essential.
