Clinic LVN - Full Time

About the Role

Golden Plains Community Hospital is seeking a Full Time Licensed Vocational Nurse to work in our Rural Health Clinics. Functions as a healthcare team member under the direction of the Physician to implement the plan of care utilizing the nursing process. Provides a safe, therapeutic environment by following standards of nursing practice in technical skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license from the State of Texas as an LVN.
• Current CPR certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• One or more current years of experience as an LVN preferred.
• Computer skills required.
• 2 years of working in a Clinic as an LVN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the ability to perform the technical skills and critical thinking outlined in the performance standards.
• Provides nursing care to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations.
• Displays good communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills; effectively prioritizes responsibilities.
• Demonstrates teamwork, self-direction, and teaching skills.
• Maintains clinic log books.
• Maintains patient charts/EHR.
