Clinic LPN - Behavioral Wellness Clinic

About the role

The Clinic LPN provides quality nursing care and support in an outpatient clinic setting through the delivery of primary health care and patient care management.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for examinations
• Obtains vital signs
• Administers medications
• Affixes to providers with procedures and treatments
• Performs clinical and laboratory functions
• Provides patient education

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of LPN experience in a clinic, physician office, or emergency department preferred
• Licensure & Certifications: Current Mississippi LPN license required. Current CPR certification required

Special Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and utilize appropriate communication channels
• Knowledge of clinic operations and outpatient healthcare workflows
• Willingness and flexibility to cross-train in other areas of clinic operations as needed
