Clinic - Lead

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organization tasks.
• Schedule appointments and manage charts.
• Provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from clinic services.
• Convey a positive image of the organization.
• Delegate and follow up with medical assistant staff within the clinic.
• Work under the Clinic Manager / Director to assist with maintaining efficient patient flow and quality care during clinic hours.
• Assist supervisors in training new staff.
• Work as part of a health care team including physicians, NP/PA’s, patient services representatives, medical records, medical assistants, health educators, and social workers to provide comprehensive care in a non-judgmental manner.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training:

• Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Surgical Technologists, or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current.
• Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization required.
• One year experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting preferred.
• Lead/Management experience preferred.
• Training/Preceptor experience preferred.

• Compensation estimate: $23.10 to $33.46. Exact starting compensation determined at time of offer based on skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
