About the Role

The ABA Clinic Director oversees the daily operations and clinical quality of the clinic. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients that align with the company’s treatment model, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory, funding, and organizational standards. The Clinical Director manages clinical teams, drives performance metrics, and fosters a positive and collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

  • Provide direct management to Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Care Coordinators, ensuring role alignment, clinical excellence, and adherence to best practices.
  • Provide oversight to Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in collaboration with the Operations Manager, ensuring role alignment, clinical excellence, and adherence to best practices.
  • Ensure clinicians adhere to company clinical policies and procedures, including supervision and parent training requirements.
  • Ensure all client ABA treatment plans and programs are implemented with high fidelity by conducting regular observations, data reviews, and staff performance checks, providing timely feedback, coaching, and retraining as needed to maintain clinical integrity and best practices.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to BCBAs and Care Coordinators.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure client progress and satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, insurance guidelines, ethical guidelines, stakeholder requirements, and state licensure regulations.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and professional development of clinic staff in collaboration with leadership.
  • Collaborate with Leadership to ensure the clinic is operating in alignment with the organization’s clinic treatment model.
  • Execute clinical practices and procedures as outlined.
  • Serve as the RBT Requirements Coordinator for all clinic RBTs.

Strategic & Organizational Duties

  • Collaborate with leadership on clinic goals, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain a strong focus on client satisfaction and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Resolve escalated concerns from families or staff in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure client weekly schedules align with authorized hours. Monitor client hour utilization to align with company goals and best practices.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including client progress, hour utilization, staff productivity, and retention rates.
  • Partner with administrative teams on intake, authorizations, and billing to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Active BCBA certification and in good standing.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience working with or transitioning to ABA-specific technology platforms.
  • Comfort with clinical tech tools and a willingness to serve as a superuser or trainer.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles, ethical guidelines, and clinical best practices.
  • Experience managing a multidisciplinary team in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and change management experience.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Work Environment & Physical Conditions

  • Full-time, on-site leadership role at the clinic.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work 40+ hours per week.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Must comply with practice policies and procedures.
  • Physical activities include standing for long periods of time, sitting for long periods of time, walking, bending, kneeling.
  • Must be able to reach, pull, and push.
  • Requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
