About the role
We are looking for a full-time Clinic Coordinator for our Occupational Health Clinic in Anchorage, AK. This role supports our primary care clinic in Fairbanks, playing a crucial part in providing information about services, ensuring a safe patient care environment, and promoting excellence in customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintain professional conduct.
- Practice cost containment and align with organizational goals.
- Utilize intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe, and navigate electronic systems for quality assurance of patient charts.
- Manage phone lines, triage calls, schedule appointments, and ensure smooth check-in/out processes.
- Display a positive attitude and respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate organizational skills and the ability to set priorities.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected information.
- Provide administrative support to the division, special teams, and committees.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with standards of care, Code of Ethics, policies, procedures, and regulatory agency rules.
- Support monitoring practices for compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Assist in improving effectiveness by implementing new ideas and efficient approaches.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school education required.
- Intermediate computer skills with prior experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office programs preferred.
- Previous experience working in a front desk or office receptionist position.
- Experience in occupational health and/or primary care, preferably in a high-volume medical practice.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Work conditions involve significant time spent walking, standing, stooping, sitting, assisting with positioning patients, and some lifting.

Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8-hour days.
Contingencies
