Clinic Care Tech, Medical Assistant Apprentice, Medical Assistant, or LPN - Family Practice
About the role
Serving in Essentia Health's family practice clinic, this position works Monday through Friday without holidays or weekends.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Licensure/Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months
- Medical Assistant Apprentice: Enrolled in the In-Clinic Assistant Training Apprenticeship Program (ICATAP)
- Medical Assistant or LPN: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state, i.e. Minnesota, Wisconsin, OR current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire
- Clinic Care Technician: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Responsibilities
- Under the guidance of a Certified Medial Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse preceptor, assists RN, Physician and other providers with direct patient care in the ambulatory setting
- Assists with clerical duties
- Stocks and cleans exam rooms
- Orders and maintains clinic supplies
- Assists with patient flow in the clinic setting

Pay
Flat rate salary for Medical Assistant Apprentice: $19.00/hour
Salary range for Medical Assistant or LPN: $21.00 - 30.89
Salary range for Clinic Care Technician: $17.32 - 25.80
