About the role
The Clinic Registrar Receptionist position at Kaua‘i Medical Clinic involves processing clinic patients and coordinating their needs with physician services. This role is crucial for providing excellent customer service and support to patients and guests.
Responsibilities
- Process clinic patients and coordinate their needs with physician services
- Provide general medical care, occupational medicine, X-ray's, vaccines, school and sports physicals and limited on-site prescriptions
- Offer urgent access to medical care in a walk-in clinic setting
- Handle administrative tasks with minimal supervision
- Ensure efficient and effective patient flow
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
- Support the creation of a healthier Hawai‘i through exceptional customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized medical secretarial program preferred
- Two (2) years of experience in a medical office, clinic, or other healthcare setting
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Able to work flexible hours including day and evening shifts
Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle confidential information securely
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
The rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.

This position offers a full-time regular FTE of 1.000000 with a work schedule of Day/Evening - 12 Hours.
