Clinic Aide - Orthopedics

About the role

You could gain valuable first-hand clinical operations and health care experience as a Clinic Aide. In this role you would serve as a nursing assistant who performs routine tasks ranging from monitoring supplies to administering health care to patients of all ages to supporting departmental staff.

Requirements

• Nurse aide or medical assistant certificate showing successful completion of courses for a nurse assistant or medical assistant training program;
• Completion of a fundamentals course from an accredited school of Nursing (name of nursing school and completion of fundamentals course);
• Military Corpsman certificate;
• E/M (Emergency Medical Technician) or MICT (Mobile Intensive Care Technician) certificate;
• A Registered Nurse/Medical Doctor license or graduate certificate from a college in a foreign country.
• Current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card.
• And Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.

Qualifications

• Completion of medical terminology course.

Skills

• Knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
