Clin Social Worker II or III - Inpatient - Days (Tues-Sat) - Orange

About the role

The incumbent is responsible for delivering social services, including psychosocial evaluation and treatment, advocacy, teaching, referrals to community services, and assisting as needed with discharge planning. They participate in case coverage and other necessary support for other social workers in the Department of Clinical Social Work / Care Coordination.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Current Clinical Social Work License issued by the Board of Behavioral Sciences
• Master's Degree in Social Work
• Knowledge of and ability to work within a complex health care system
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Interpret and implement all applicable standards and regulations such as, The Joint Commission, DHS, and the Child Abuse Registry
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Clin Social Worker III - Skills to interpret and implement hospital, JCAHO, Health Department and Child Abuse Registry standards and regulations; Current Clinical Social Work License issued by the Board of Behavioral Sciences; Master's Degree in Social Work; Knowledge of and ability to work within a complex health care system; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload; Interpret and implement all applicable standards and regulations such as, The Joint Commission, DHS, and the Child Abuse Registry; Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
