Climate Resiliency Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow internal climate + resilience services, mentoring team members and collaborating with design teams
• Integrate climate + resilience strategies into building design processes
• Oversee master planning efforts focused on sustainability and decarbonization
• Guide the creation of graphical representations of climate + resilience strategies
• Lead research on GHG emissions reduction and resilient design workflows
• Identify and implement emerging climate + resilience approaches for client programs
• Represent the firm at external events and contribute to case studies and whitepapers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Environmental, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field; preferred higher education or advanced coursework
• Minimum of 12 years in climate and resilience-focused analysis and planning at multiple scales
• One or more certifications like LEED, LFA, CPHC, WELL, etc. are required; PE or Registered Architect preferred
• Deep expertise in climate risk assessment and resilient design strategies
• Experience in greenhouse gas emissions assessment and reduction strategies at various scales
• Familiarity with building standards including LEED and WELL is essential
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay

$117,000 – $146,300 annually
