Responsibilities
- Lead and grow internal climate + resilience services, mentoring team members and collaborating with design teams
- Integrate climate + resilience strategies into building design processes
- Oversee master planning efforts focused on sustainability and decarbonization
- Guide the creation of graphical representations of climate + resilience strategies
- Lead research on GHG emissions reduction and resilient design workflows
- Identify and implement emerging climate + resilience approaches for client programs
- Represent the firm at external events and contribute to case studies and whitepapers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Environmental, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field; preferred higher education or advanced coursework
- Minimum of 12 years in climate and resilience-focused analysis and planning at multiple scales
- One or more certifications like LEED, LFA, CPHC, WELL, etc. are required; PE or Registered Architect preferred
- Deep expertise in climate risk assessment and resilient design strategies
- Experience in greenhouse gas emissions assessment and reduction strategies at various scales
- Familiarity with building standards including LEED and WELL is essential
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Pay
$117,000 – $146,300 annually
