What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and review advanced environmental science problems with real-world relevance and scientific depth.
- Apply your expertise in climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or related fields to design complex, nuanced problem statements.
- Evaluate AI-generated reasoning and outputs for scientific accuracy, clarity, and rigor.
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to push the frontier of AI scientific reasoning.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy and intellectual quality.
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Ecology, or a closely related field.
- Deep expertise in at least one of: climate modeling, ecology, sustainability science, or environmental data analysis.
- Proficient in Python or R for research or data analysis.
- Exceptional written communicator — you can explain complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently and asynchronously.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data labeling, or AI evaluation workflows.
- Background in interdisciplinary environmental research spanning multiple domains.
- Familiarity with AI tools or large language models as a practitioner or researcher.
- Experience designing or grading complex scientific assessments or research problems.
